I made a new friend- myLot!

To be a student who comes from a middle class family and who has no technical "abilities" as such at her disposal but only a natural inclination towards a game that involves weaving of words to produce meaningful outcome (I mean writing, yes), generating enough capital to support herself henceforth saving herself from becoming a real encumbrance on her parents, can be really tough. This is what I thought until I came across myLot today. It seems to me just the right kind of place to get started, especially for newcomers like me. Signing up was pretty easy; the discussion forum looked really friendly. I hope to contribute fairly to this wonderful place. Need guidance and co-operation as well. Thank You.

Hmmm... well, the friendly I can usually manage, Priya... maybe a little bit of guidance when needed is not beyond me, either... but as for that cooperation, you may be barking up the wrong tree, IMHO! SMH!

@SIMPLYD Oh yes I have lots of good people to interact with. I don't bother much about people who upset me. One of the nicest people I know here in Mylot is the one reading this comment now.

MyLot is an amazing site. Since June, I have been able to interact with so many people here and make a lot of friends too. It feels like home here honestly. Except one or two people, I have always had a warm approach by everyone.
