Ice-cream cone

While sitting in the back seat of our family car, on a cold Saturday evening, something catches my eye. I look out the window and I see this elderly couple wearing matching purple shirts selling ice-cream cones, they were smiling at each other when we passed by. I then smiled because it reminded me of true love. This couple didn’t have a good-job, a decent home, but they were contented with just having each other by their side to keep them sane. This is not an understatement because some couples I know are not happy with the life they live, even though they have money, food, and a decent job. They are not happy because there husband still have the “what I earn is mine mindset”, they can’t get the things they want, and there love is dictated mostly by money. Seeing this couple just made my day. It reminded the love that comes naturally, that does not demand and that allows you to be yourself (because really some people really do change their personality for the person they like to like them back). I’m so happy to see love that endures through anything.

Real love for each other does not depend on material possessions, thankfully. In fact too much of them distract from the essence of love, what it is really about - siva

yeah, but that's just how life is, you don't always get what you need.

Even I had a similar experience today. I was sitting inside the car when I saw this family of five sitting in one single motorbike going for a ride. Their faces looked so happy and contended. I instantly thought that we are missing out something in our life.

Well, they have that "forever" thing in them... at least, in their love story.
