My Children's Posts on Facebook Made Me Cry

When I opened my Facebook account this morning, I saw my daughters' and my son's posts about their father. They posted a picture of their father and wrote something for Father"s Day. As I was reading their posts, I just noticed that my tears are falling. I actually doesn't know why. Maybe I missed my husband or maybe I am just happy because my children still took time in greeting their father even if he is 6 years gone already. It made me realize that my children still remember their father and really love him. I hope he is happy in heaven now.

Our parents passed away 25 years ago and there's no moment that we have forgotten them on special days. It's those days that make us miss them more.

When my husband was still alive, we were not able to celebrate father's day with him because he is always in Saudi Arabia. He was an OFW. I was touched by my children's gesture.

@magallon That's really sad. I go to spend only 13 years of my life with my parents though not every single day since on school days i got to see them only during the weekends and once on weekdays. But we were much luckier to be that closer to them than your children did with their father.

@toniganzon Yeah, you're lucky to grow up with both of your parents.

This is sad but touching. I wasnt with my dad yesterday and it made me miss him very much. I responded to one of the fathers-day posts yesterday and it made me cry.

Yes, simple gesture like the one that my children did, is really touching. Thanks.

They are very thoughtful, they think their Dad can still read their message. Your children show that they did love their father and miss him so much.

I really never expected it because I cannot observe from them that they missed their father. Sometimes when I talked about their father, they just don't want to listen. So, maybe I also missed my husband that's why I was teary eyed when reading their posts.

Your kids must have loved their Dad so much. That's an emotional tribute for Father's day.

Now I realized that my children love their father too. They maybe not talking about it but I know now that they are also missing him.
