He May Not Be Perfect , But He Is The Greatest !

After attending the mass yesterday afternoon , my daughter , husband and i proceeded to the mall .
I treated my husband and daughter for Father's Day .
You see , my daughter after 10 years since she went to a far city to study, until lately where they have a short vacation from 18-22 , from their review classes for the Board Exams comes September , came home just to be able to spend this special occasion with us .
My hubby as usual , doesn't want to be photographed specially with that given hat , but wasn't able to say no, when my daughter went by his side, hugged him and i, took this picture . As usual , he didn't smile . 
My daughter said , while putting on the hat on his father's head , that he may not be a perfect father , but he is the greatest ! How sweet ! 
By the way , we learned from my husband's sister who did a Skype yesterday from Australia , that Father's day there will be in September .
Noneless, she greeted my hubby and my father-in-law , a Happy Father's Day .
Belated Happy Father's day everyone ! I know it was a happy one from your ends.

Yes, he always have that serious look on his face . But he is a joker by heart . He always joke around when at home .

She is indeed a very sweet daughter. I am not vocal when it comes to my feelings. I just show my love through actions. I am a very shy person especially to my parents that I just do everything to make them feel my love. Happy Father's Day to your hubby.

Our daughter is not also . Though , when there is an occasion like this , she hugs us . And she is more close to her father than me .
Well, as long as you show them your love , your parents will already be very happy .

Indeed he may not be grinning from ear to ear but it is true that he is smiling inside because after that picture taking he broke into a laugh since we are kidding him that he is not smiling again .

That's nice , that your family back there also cooked some foods to celebrate Father's day in honor of your father and brother .
It is so nice that people make an special effort to greet and make the fathers appreciated and happy on this special day for them .

So nice!! love this. I had pics from yesterday too, my kids with their dad. It was a fun fun day for us. We went to Sunday Service and then had some lunch at home :)

@SIMPLYD Yes, my father in law is still very active despite his age.. He now lives in a retirement village but make himself busy with gardening .. He even does his own washing and ironing .. If I live up to 90 and can still look after myself, it would be wonderful ..

Happy father's day to him. I think my father also had a great time yesterday even if I wasn't around. My brother treated our parents. My father happily texted me in the afternoon that they just arrived home and told me about the foods they ate. (nang inggit)

Actually , parents are not hard to please . Treating them in a restaurant , letting them order their favorites is enough to make them very happy .
Hubby likes pizza , mojos , chicken and salad very much and so do we . So , he was happy eating those .

@brokenbee Then when going to a restaurant with him , you order those that are not prohibited for him . That's how we show our love to our parents .

@SIMPLYD yes, I had observed that.
But we also had to be careful in where to bring my father and what to order because he's so strict on his diet. He usually complains about his aching feet and knees when he had taken foods high in purine.

Actually , we were surprised when she called that she will be coming home on their short vacation from their review classes 18-22 . She said , she wants to spend Father's day with us since she wasn't able to for 10 years ago . That's because June is the start of classes in the Philippines .
