My Anxious Morning

Good morning MyLotters!! I'm feeling a bit of anxiety today because I have a Dr's appt. early this afternoon. I already know that everything is okay, but I still can't seem to shake this uneasy feeling that I always get before most appts.
It doesn't even matter what kind of Dr. I'm going to, (eye, primary or specialist) I always feel this way. I have tried to meditate and although I do feel better, the feeling isn't completely gone. I really hate it too because it affects everyone around me. All that negative energy is just swirling around the room. What suggestions or tips does anyone have that might help me feel less stressed when going to the Dr's office?

I think it would be best if you had positive feelings in a doctor's clinic or room. Maybe talking to your doctor would reduce your anxiety. Perhaps you're afraid because you don't know what they're going to do or if they could hurt you, or you may have had a frightening childhood incident in a clinic.

@Tierkreisze..you're right I had very bad asthma as a child and spent a lot of time in the hospital. I'm praying and hoping that my anxiety gets better. Thank you for your awesome comment. Have a blessed day!

@just4him Thanks, meditation has helped and I also prayed which is the best thing to do in these types of situations. My appt. well very well so I am pleased!

Try to fight your anxiety. Prayers can also help. Ask God for peace of mind and try to be positive.
