Guns in the bar...?...Yes or no?...

The big Controversy!!!
Like guns are this big complicated monster just lurking around corners waiting to kill willy nilly anything that 'crosses its path'. It is being glorified. It is being vilified. Time to grow up and think rationally. It is a 'thing'. An inanimate object. A tube out of which comes out a piece of lead propelled by black powder when ignited. Honest, folks, it will do nothing unless someone picks it up, cocks it and presses the trigger. It is, simply, a tool; not unlike a hammer, a shovel, a knife, etc, any of which can also be used to take a human life.
Guns in a bar? Even in the Old West, the bar owners had the sense to check the guns at the door. The last thing we need is a bunch of people walking in and out of a bar, in various states of intoxication, having within their reach a lethal weapon that they can use to 'settle' an argument, act up in uncontrolled anger or just being idiots.
However, I can guarantee that, if there had been armed security at the door of that bar in Orlando, there would have been very few killed or, perhaps, none before this 'nut-job' was brought down.
Any thoughts?...

I looked and found this
"It’s important to note that the Pulse nightclub killer exchanged gunfire with a police officer working security at the venue. The officer was unable to stop the murderer, who proceeded to kill 50 and wound dozens more."
it may have a bias but I think it shows that there was some form of armed security.

@kriskru Then, you get as many as it takes...or...we throw our hands up in surrender and let the scum of the earth have their way with us. We've dealt with this stuff before, back when this country had a 'back-bone'; before it became Gorge Orwell's 'Brave New World.
