I can't pay my bill.

Today, I tried to pay my credit card. I called two different numbers twice each. Of course, they did not understand because they are a robot and do not have a brain.
They went through the spiel of how much the bill is and how much I need to pay. They gave me different information for each call.
No one would let me talk to a person or pay the bill. I set up an online payment account. I put in all the information and now they want it all again. Redid it and they tell me I have to wait 15 days to pay online.
No one will take my money. What the heck? Since they told me I owed a different amount four times, I don't even know what my bill is.
Is it just me or do other people have trouble with these banks with no customer service and no help?

Was the number on the back of your card one of the ones you called? I've found that I'm usually able to get a live person by calling that number rather than the one they give me on the website.
If you have all the information, you might be able to make a payment online through your bank account's bill pay system. You usually need the full account number and the address the payments are sent to. Once you've added it, they electronically deliver the payment on the next business day in most cases that I've seen. If you're able to do that, I'd take the higher of the amounts (if you're not able to get a live person) and send it through online bill pay.
And actually, if the online account is for the credit card, it should give you the amount right there on the home screen. All of our credit accounts do, along with our current card balances. You should be able to access statements and payment history there, too.

I was hoping for a one-time payment system. I don't like it when somebody makes me pay again and I don't know it. That is how you get overdrawn. We are not people to them, just account numbers.
Well, guess what? The bank called me back and I paid on the phone. Yipee! Of course, they added a hefty fee because I did not pay it two days ago. But they need it more than I do, I guess.

I pay my bills online as well, as it it easier for me. I also have apps on mu phone, where I can pay through an app. That makes it easier too. I don't always have to go onto my computer to pay my bills. I know what you mean though, as I have got calls or made calls, where the person wasn't real, and if they were, I couldn't understand them, as theeir english wasn't to good. That is frustrating too, so I just decided to change things and do them online so I don't have to talk to robots or ones that I can't understand to well.

The people in the bank are real, I think. It is the non-people who answer the phone that make me crazy. You enter your card number and they keep saying they do not understand, they did not get that. I wish they would oil the brain or give it a bagel or something. I hate talking to machinery.

I have trouble with anything technical. I need to interact with people. Having said that here too technology is taking over people.
Everytime I go to the bank there is a new machine for some activity :)
