Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 9 Review(ish) [massive spoilers!!!]

This season of Game of Thrones finally delivers after what for the most part has been a pretty bland season. So far it seemed like this would be the worst season for the show. Every episode seemed to play out the same way with very little to nothing happening until a shocking/awesome moment at the end. This episode however proved that the show runners have simply been saving money for the end of the season. The episode opens right where we left of with Danny's city attacked by the masters. The scene between her and Tyrion at the start was very good. l liked how he reminded her to not be just like her father. It was a very touching moment, showing that Tyrion is a guy who wants to do the right thing as opposed to most of his relatives. The dragon scene was fantastic. The CGI was almost big screen level and you could tell a lot of time had been put into making the dragons looks like they're really there. The other part of the episode was of course the Battle of the B*stards, like the name of the episode suggested. John snow of course falls into Ramsey's trap, just like Sansa warned him and then proceeds to be played like a flute by Ramsey Bolton, just like Sansa warned him! The battle was once again big screen level. Scratch that l don't even thing we've seen such a realistic and gritty battle conveyed on the big screen. The one continuous shot of Jon Snow fighting was among the many highlights of that scene. The tension and disorientation were perfectly represented making the battle really immersive. That trampling scene alone turned this into my favourite battle put to film EVER! At the end of course Sansa comes to rescue Jon and his army but we witness the Death of the giant which was really touching. The only bad part of this episode in my opinion is that we simply didn't get enough giant action. And of curse Ramsey finally meets his makes in what is one of the most satisfying death of a villain since the purple wedding. In short l believe this is probably the best episode of Game of Thrones to date. Anyway what do you guys think? Do you watch the show? What did you think of the episode? And more importantly what do you think they have in store for the 70 minute finale next week??
