Do you still write Letters?

Call me old fashioned but I'd anyday prefer a hand written letter over a message sent across a digital platform.
Hand written letter not only seems personalized but also reflects the efforts put in by the person in writing it. It conveys the emotions of the writer in it's true sense.
And the best part of hand written letters is that you can treasure them for years and years. And someday you can just go back to them and revist all the old memories and feel the nostalgia.
Undoubtedly it is not as convinient as Instant Messaging or E-mails but you can definitely go on extra mile for someone you love. I tend to write letters every now and then for anyone who is really close to my heart.
So are you still a letter person? Do you guys still write letters? If not would you like to if you don't have the time constraints?
The picture is of the letters I wrote to my boyfriend a while ago. A letter for each day of the week minus Sunday. Fir Sunday I made a very personal, special and unique card. No occasion. Just felt like doing it.

It is tough . It has been long since I have written a letter. Emails are easy, sms are convinient. We need good handwriting , not spelling mistakes and clarity in thought. But yes the reciever will love the letter that is personally handwritten . your boyfriend must have loved it

I agree it's not as convinient and you don't need to write them all the time. But writing them once in a blue moon for your loved one's would really cheer them up. Even a short and sweet note is bound to cheer them.
And I asked him to open the letter on each corresponding day like Mondays Letter on Monday and so on... But he ended up opening all of them as soon as he reached home. So yeah can say he loved it a bit too much.

@vijay_2016 But he killed the fun. He was supposed to wait and feel curious. So I missed the fun.

I received a birthday card personally written by a friend recently. It made you feel special with all the effort and stuff. Especially the penmanship. I consider it a treasure.

That is nice. You are a very sweet girlfriend. When do you give your letters to your boyfriend? I would like to write letters but my penmanship is not good. I think my boyfriend will just prefer me send him email than read my chicken scratch penmanship.

@Blue_bubble Thank you so much for those kind words. I I hope so I will not see him scratch his head while reading my letters for him.

Hahahaha Don't worry even if you give him a small and simple handrwritten note, he'd feel very glad to receive it. And trust me he wouldn't stop loving you even if you have Chicken Scratch penmanship Lol!
When? Ummm Let's say whenever I am free and feel like giving him a treat.

I use to when I was a teenager but not anymore. Me and my good friend use to write each other at least once a month or every two months. I think it is a dying art of communication.

Even a simple and short note feels so much more personalized. Writing is a dieing virtue. Convinience has took over the art.
Even I have never received letters other than official one's except from one of my Very good friends.
