Music is often regarded as a distraction... However as everything has it's pros and cons, music does too.
The days when you just want to be alone, away from people, music helps you to dissolve into your surroundings so easily. So why not just look at the positive side of it??

yes music is the best way to relax one's mind. However sometimes we can not concentrate on what we are doing due to listening to music . Also it can be dangerous sometimes, like when driving a car or riding a bike on a busy road.

@Sneha464 yes too much of music also is not good. So many young people are listening to music in ear phones for prolonged time. That too at a high volume. This will have impact on their hearing in long run.

well there is a + and - to everything, like you said, and i personally love music, but in certain scenarios it isn't the best, which is why we must also look at the negatives. for example it can distract students while studying, or make it difficult to focus on driving, etc. so it is necessary that we see the negatives as well.
