@allen0187 My entire creative process is at times inspired by and spurred on by music. It's this weird little tick I've had since I was a toddler. Listening to certain songs that appeal to me would trigger these animated scenarios in my head. Kinda like the AMVs you'd see on Youtube. As a kid the scenarios varied depending on the song's tempo and pace. That still happens today, as I've wriien fight scenes to Disturbed "Fear," "Stupify," "The Game," and "Voices." As well as Sevendust's "Praise," and "Damage." The lyrics of a song may come into play in inspiring a scenario or plot of a story, or might become a character's "theme song." Though some "theme songs" looking back have me asking:"Why'd I pick that one?" For example, there's a nephilim(a being born of an angel and a human) character I created named "Dante," and some of his action scenes are written to Emeniem's "Soldier." There's another character I created in a comic-book series named "Mandy," and her "theme song" is Disturbed's "Perfect Insaniy," despite the fact she's her brother's more chipper and outgoing counterpart... And her brother's theme song...? "Dr. Finklestein's Song" from "The Nightmare Before Christmas:Oogie's Revenge." I don't know why, and hopefully that might change. I'm also working on a "traveling" playlist, as courtesy of youtube I've listened to several songs I've heard that I feel would be good to listen to while traveling out of town to anime and comic-book conventions. Some of these songs are from videogames...Old videogames...

Pink has a new single out now which is part of the soundtrack of the new Alice in Wonderland movie. She has no new album though.

@allen0187 Jazz, native american, instrumental. Really alomost all kinds. It depends on the mood I am in as to what I listen to.

Not familiar with the song 'Tsinito'. Who sang it? Too bad there aren't many mainstream local jazz artists. There are good local jazz artists but they seldom get any airplay.

@SIMPLYD I must admit that I'm not a fan of the current roster of local 'artists'. I do look out for new artists and bands in the indie scene.

I wouldn't play any music while they are arguing. I'd rather snoop on them and listen for some nasty bits of dirt that they throw at each other!

Walking to the tune of ABBA songs? that not something i hear everyday @marlina .

@allen0187 I do listen to all kinds of music but for my walking it is mostly songs from the cd Rocky and Abba and Bruce Springstein. For reading I like to listen to classical music or jazz.

There are a lot of one-hit wonders back in the 80s. My favorite is The Boom Town Rats' 'I don't Like Mondays'.

Nice song with a good melody. Sucks that the song is a result of a true to life tragic incident at school.

What sort of classic rock are we talking about? Led Zep? AC/DC? Still Water? I listen to classical music as well. I find it soothing and relaxing.

I'm a fan of jazz but can't say the same with country.

Not a fan of the Beatles but I do like some of their songs. Same case with Boyzone.

The jazz part I got as well as the classical one. The poor appetite not so much.
