Callous attitude of police

I happen to see tremendous road blocks put in on Delhi Roads by the Delhi Police which serves nothing but add to the traffic chaos which Delhi already suffers from. Its a rare sight if you see any police men manning these barricades even though the professed reason for putting up is written on the barricades " True, we slow you down, but we try not to let criminal slip away" . And whenever you find police men manning these barricades, they are chat among themselves or over the phone with their back turned towards the traffic. The barricades put up in the night are seldom removed in the morning or removed by local chowkidars (watch men) of the localities. The key to the chains securing these barricades is routinely in the custody of these local watch men and is permanently handed over to them by local beat constable. In shelter of these barricades, encroachments taking place on Delhi roads is not an uncommon sight.. On lodging a complaint, nothing happens. It seems we are living in an anarchy now.
