Filipino version of Apple cider Vinegar

If the US has Apple cider Vinegar as their cure all remedy from sore throat to acid reflux. It also said to lower blood pressure, improve diabetes, and support weight loss. Here in the Philippines we have Fermented cane vinegar Cane vinegar is made from sugarcane juice and it is believe to cleanse your body, it helps eliminate lactic acid (lactic) of the liver and is really beneficial to your health. It is also delicious in fried lumpia, pork rind, and adobo.

I miss sukang pinakurat (spiced coconut vinegar). I first had a taste in Cebu. It really increases my appetite.

You may check it out in the grocery. Ive seen some in Laguna too. But it's more in demand in Cebu i think.

Apple cider vinegar smells like dirty armpits. Cane vinegar is indeed common here, coconut vinegar is also popular here too.

We use only silver swan vinegar. But thank you for your post. Sugarcane is very useful.

So that's the counter part of apple cider vinegar in your place. It looks basically the same except for the raw materials its made from.
