Onion Pakoras are Onion Fritters are one of the most famous and loved snack in India specifically North India. It is easily available as street food but most of the times it is preferred home made.People here love it so much that Rain and Onion Pakoras have become mutually inclusive. Whenever it rains you begin to crave these!
The Onion Pakoras is a very humble snack simply made using Onion Rings which are dipped into a batter made out of Gram Flour/Garbanzo bean flour then deep fried in hot oil until they turn Golden Brown .The crispiness of the Pakoras is directly proportional to how good they are,the crispier the better. They are usually served with spicy coriander and mint chutney or Tomato Ketchup.
So guys have you ever had this snack or do you have something similar to this available in your country? And if you already had them do you like it? Personally for me not a very big fan of deep fried food so....ummm not a very Big Fan
The picture is of the Onion Pakoras I made for my family a while back

@Blue_bubble Yours look good. I'm sure I'd enjoy them. I'd choose a chutney over ketchup. We use too much ketchup here in the US.

Oh that's great you do no about Pakoras! Spinach pakoras are also nice but they tend to absorb too much oil due to the water content in the spinach so you can't eat a lot of them!
