Today is Day 1 of my Summer Workout Challenge. It isn't anything official like the name I'm giving it implies, but I need to lose some serious weight this summer so I am challenging myself to do just that. Today was my first day back and I did 45 minutes of cardio: 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the elliptical trainer. I feel really good about doing that length of cardiovascular activity on my first day back I will probably doing some yoga later as well. That is a good way to stretch out and relax. It also does burn some calories too which is a bonus. Day 1 of my workout challenge is already a success I think.

Good job!! Good luck on your summer challenge. Just take it one day at a time and don't beat yourself up if you miss a day.

Well done you - getting through day one is often a big hurdle! My fitness routine starts on Monday, it's been planned for a couple of weeks - maybe I'll post on here about it, keep things a bit public in the hope of staying on track...

I love doing yoga and have missed doing at home and at the gym. I hope to go back in 2 weeks after the 4th of July. Keep it up!
