Just wondering which school you are attending and how easy was it for you to get into the program. My daughter wants to be an RN; however, she is having a hard time getting into the classes. Seems there is a long waiting list. We live in California.

Nursing School Student - nurse
I left New Jersey in 1986 and attended a small community college (Gadsden State Community College, Gadsden, Alabama - http://www.gadsdenstate.edu ) that has a 2 year degree AAS program in Nursing (RN) and then attended a small university 20 miles from it to complete my BSN. I was an older student and need the comm college to get me into the swing of studying again. If your daughter doesnt need that then apply for the full 4 year BSN program at Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama ( http://www.jsu.edu ). Its a small university and she can get more one-on-one with her studies. If not either, there is the famous University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama just 2 hours away from these schools which has excellent 4 year BSN and MSN programs ( http://www.uab.edu ).
