Brightening up my house on the cheap

I spent all day cleaning today, it's been kind of a late spring clean - I only planned to give the bathroom a once over but that ended up turning into a non-stop cleaning marathon as I gave that a bigger clean than planned, then ended up doing the same in the living room.
It was funny as I said to my partner that it was a shame we haven't got any flowers in there as nothing sets a clean room off better than a vase of flowers in my opinion. We've got a fair few plants in there but they're of the 'greenery' style so not much colour in them (unless you like green). Anyway, I popped to the supermarket to grab something quick for dinner and was chuffed to see they'd reduced their super-duper bright (BRIGHT) bouquets from £15 down to just 99p (that's approx $22 to $1.30)!!!
I was really pleased, I don't often get THE bargains but there's a good bit of life in these flowers yet and they look fabulous in my nice clean living room!
Photo is mine, of the flowers I bought today.

A real bargain @NJChicaa - I'm even more pleased with the flowers as they were so cheap (I wouldn't pay £15 for a bouquet!)

Glad you found nice ones for a bargain. I used to buy flowers every so often and they would not last so now I have the fake ones and to me they are just as nice.
