Why I won't be voting in this year's election....

I won't be voting in the 2016 election, as all the candidates who did seem to have good sense lost, and the two vying for office... Don't seem to be very bright... But aside from that, it feels like a set up, as a means to manipulate history. Neither is doing anything to breed confidence, and feels like Liberal media is trying to manipulate the situation so we can have a female president. I mean you've gotta compare who Hilary went up against eight years ago to now. Back then, the candidates were well spoken, and knew how to reach the people. Aside from Bernie Sanders, you can't say that now, plus outside of Ted Cruz and G.W. Bush's brother, who were these new faces to the general public? Yet we all know who Clnton is, and we already had a black president, so why not a woman? Granted, she's white, but still... "Female empowerment and such..." It feels to me like Clinton's taking advantage of the weak crop of candidates this time around, and in a way so is Trump. Plus people these days are more cynical and angry, which Trump and Hilary are playing to. Conservatives complain that there's too much change, while the liberals complain that there's not enough. This allows for both parties to be taken advantage of by Trump and Clinton. Hence why I ain't voting, as it's not about helping the people or the economy, but manipulating history... Which is why, regardless of who we get as president, we're boned in my humble opinion.

A lot of people aren't too pleased with the candidates and some claim they won't be voting. We simply have to may due with the candidates until one is deemed the winner.

That's what I plan on doing, but I view it as "sitting back and watching the world burn."

The reason I’m voting has nothing to do with the PRESIDENCY, I’m voting on the rest of the ballot which could easily contain changes to our CONSTITUTION @Hanyouyomi

@rebelann If you're serious, I'm not surprised that the media hasn't mentioned that. No instead it's pick your brand of poison:"The rich idiot from Queens,' or 'The Pampered Princess.' There are no other options, because you're all doomed as it is."

Boy, if that was an option, I'd do it. Especially since I need the money.

Our choices this time definitely aren't all that great. I think the Hillary thing has been rigged from the beginning, from years ago. Right now I'm not sure I'm voting either. One thing - I will not be voting for Hillary!

Vote for Jill Stein, She cant win but if she got at least 10 percent votes. it might give people who are sick of the republicans and democrats an idea that there is a 3rd party. It will be a huge publicity for the green party.

@CaptAlbertWhisker She can't win but she can push the election to the ones those who truly support her on the issues to the one who is the farthest from her. Or she and/or another third party candidate could actually win a couple states and in so doing give the House the job of choosing our next President. Who wants the do-nothing Congress with the record-breaking low approval ratings to choose the next Leader of the Free World? Certainly no me!

You have to vote for the lesser of the two evils. Not voting is a cop out.

All right here are the options:"A rich white dude who doesn't get how political policies work, and will probably drive the country into the ground with jingoist xenophobia." Or "a white woman who has no clue how political policies work, and is content on manipulating young white Milennials into patronizing racial minorities like me, women, and the LGBT community with pretty hollow lies with how special and equal we are while treating us like crap..." So which of the two is the lesser evil? Because from where I sit, they're the same type of poison with a different label wrapped around the bottle.
