Proud Of Myself

I must say that I am quite proud of myself tonight as I went back for a second walk just before dinner. So, I walked for a total of 45 minutes today and a little faster at times. I feel so much better mentally and physically when I can walk a lot. But some days I can't at all. So, I do take advantage of the days that I can. I hope I will sleep well tonight. Photo: Pixabay

I don't always walk like I should either. It certainly does make me feel better though after i do walk. I walk once a day, and it takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes, depending on how long it takes them to decide when to do thir job and how many times they will do it on their walk.

@marlina I do need to walk more than I do though, but the thing of it is, I have had back problems and if I stand up to long then it can really start hurting, although, I didn't notice it this morning when I walked, and I normally do notice it. That might be a good thing though, that maybe it is going to stop hurting one of these days.

I agree that walking is good for health, but sometimes I can't even sleep at night even though I walked.

Still haven't started walking here yet! I will be walking while I sweep the church basement and clean the bathrooms, but I don't think that really counts.

That's great you got some exercise when you felt like it. I've done too much and suffered for it later but regardless it's all good because I do feel better than when I'm a couch potatoe.

@marlina i had to do it yesterday because when i got back my legs were throbbing so lay on the couch and watched an old tv show until the hurt subsided. But yes it feels lousy when you do too much inactivity.

Glad the walks make you feel good. Do keep up the walks. Doctors say something about good hormones being released and all that. You don't actually need so much information, sometimes we should 'just do it' :) A walk quote for you---- "My father considered a walk among the mountains as the equivalent of churchgoing"--. Aldous Huxley

I got out early this morning, but the day is extremely hot. I walked for about half an hour and then I went back home, it's humid and hot, very painful.
