Why most of the funny videos are of cats and not dogs? / myLot

This is a very difficult puzzle for me. Dogs are very much more in number in total number of pet animals. may be cats are less than half the number of dogs. But funny videos are mostly of cats. Does it mean that dogs are always serious? Any experience or opinion? picture credit: pixabay.com

It's just that dogs are boring and basically just pant and slobber and bark. Cats are mischief makers getting themselves in goofy spots.

The dogs we had when I was growing up were quite entertaining, chasing each other around and playing with my kids sisters' blocks, throwing them up in the air and catching them. Our standard poodle chased rabbits and tried to herd cattle, who mostly ignored her. They were the best dogs. I still miss them.

It is just funnier to watch cats jump and miss things. Also when they get ready to pounce as well.

I think it's probably perception more than anything else. Both cats and dogs do funny things.

now, in the U.S. - anyway - cats are more numerous than dogs - but the reason you see funny cat videos more than funny dog ones is because cats take themselves so seriously and dogs... not so much.

Dog owners are more social, cat owners are introverts. Catowners prefers building their community online thats why cats dominated the internet.Dog owners prefer socializing in person. I am a cat person and that is the reason cats dominate online. Also Grumpy cat having a networth of 300 million us dollars motivated cat owners to upload videos in hopes their cat is the next big thing.
