I got an early good morning message from a friend updating me of her cancelled multi-million transaction yesterday.
She sent me an urgent message yesterday seeking help and an advice regarding a property she was wanting to buy. It was a multi-million property that her mom really wanted to get. However, she has doubts and when she consulted me, her doubts were confirmed.
So she sent me a multi-million thank you for saving her from what could have been a bad investment.
Who do you run to when you need an advice?

She didn't purchase from my company. I would never accept such kind of transaction in my very own company. Before they enlist their property in my company, I make sure that all documents necessary in selling a property is complete because I don't want to destroy the reputation I have worked so hard to be ruined by money.

I see! That is good. You want all your customers to be pleased with their purchases/investments. While some other companies may hide some information just to sell, make money. I like the way you do business by doing research on the property, have all documents, etc! Very honest!

It is good to hear that your advice saved your friend from a likely disaster.
I consult my friends and relatives when I need any advice on any issue.

That's good. We usually run to people we can trust and whom we know as someone who are experts on that field.

Members of our family are the people we usually run to first, but when they're not available or couldn't' give the proper advice, we go to our friends.

@toniganzon - Ms Toni - In answer to your question - "To whom do you run when you need an advice? "
I run to my bride and our consultation goes like this: "What's to eat? I'm plenty hungry. Would you advise me to have coffee with the food, or maybe some nice tea?"
She gave me some super-good advice one time. She answered my query, telling me, "...both coffee and some tea for you, buster. That should keep you quiet for a few minutes until the soap opera is done with on the TV."

Heck! I cannot run... I have arthritis
How about a long drive on the bike... Ah, those good days... I would always get on the marine drive and by the time I returned, I would be fresh and be in no need of any advice... decisions taken during the rides were always right

That's nice. IN my country it's very common to go to our family and relatives and our neighbours when we have some problems. Not really to seek advise but just someone who will listen to us.

@AkoPinay best wishes. There was this one person who married her own self coz she thinks there's nobody better than her own self. Her name was Sue. After a couple of months, she filed a divorce!

I usually turn to my professor friends whenever I am having difficulty in decision making which is related to academics. I naturally prefer older people as my friends because I learn a lot from them.

Right. Most of my friends are younger than me and they all turn to me for legal and financial advice.

@sofssu There are things that needs immediate response and there are things that can wait. Emergency situation calls for immediate action, I just pray for guidance that I be given the wisdom to decide righteously.

She did the same thing but she's young and she was transacting with a lawyer. That's why she almost believed the transaction was a good deal.
