Judged because of a Disability

It is wrong to walk into a store, doctors office, restaurant actually anywhere and be judged because you have a disability. Hey when you judge someone God judges you for that in the end. I really think it is bad to be like that in my opinion. If you lived in that persons shoes you would not be so judgmental of them. Whether they have diabetes, Lupus, MS, parkinsons disease, broken leg or arm. Anything you can think of. Do you like walking into a place and being judged? No, noone does. Period This world needs to become more accepting and loving.

The only thing I ever get is, "You don't look disabled." I always want to reply, "well, you don't look stupid, either," but I always refrain.

Hah! Political correctness was supposed to make people less 'judgmental'. If anything, it has made people more 'thin-skinned, judgmental and hypocritical than ever before in the history of the human species. Respect and good manners have become obsolete; a thing of the past.

I can certainly relate to this festuration. I have MS and I've had two surgeries on my back I have a rod in my spine. Sometimes I have to be on a walker and other times when Im strong enough I can use a cane. Yes Im only in my 40's and people will stare at me and mumble under their breaths. There are these kids that live in the complex and everytime Im outside they say the most horrible things to me but I just ignore the. Disabilities does not discrimate agaisnt age.
