To create a blog, finding your niche is really very important, else you will not be able to continue. Choose a topic you really feel excited to write and want to learn more on the topic.

Niche means, any subject or topic, on which you have some good knowledge to share with the world. In Other word , it can be some topic you really want to learn more and share your learning with others. In short the topic should interest you, so that you can continue writing on it.

I have several blogs. One of them is call writing practice and I write whatever crosses my mind at the time. If you're searching for a niche it has to be something that interests you at the very minimum. It also should be something that you are knowledgeable about. Good luck.

@aarifa I work on blogger just because it is free and I'm already familiar with it. There are other platforms with greater and better options but I'm not very good and working with them. Sometimes the old dog has some trouble with new tricks.

First, what do you like to talk about? Do you have any hobbies? If you like cooking, you can make a blog where you experiment with different ingredients. Or you could post a how-to blog about arts and crafts. If you have a child, you can entertain readers by posting about your days with your child.
If I had the time, I'd make a blog about painting.
