Good night here from New Hampshire. How many remember the show Your Hit Parade? Saturday night in the early fifties.I used to watched this every week. The sing the top ten songs .From ten to one. Dorothy Collins,Giselle Mckenzie The video is in black and white. Some of you may and some of you may not remember. They promote Lucky Strike cigarettes was the best seller and their sponsor. At the end of the show.they sang Good night for awhile and good night your hit parade etc.Will see you next week.

I can only imagine how you might be feeling remembering this old stuff. Memories, Man! They're always sweeter than the present. My father was born six years after the show you just discussed.

Most of us here in New Zealand didn't have TV in the 50s. My family got their first TV in 1964 or 1965.

Your Hit Parade was before I was born. However I do listen to America's Top 40 radio show hosted by the late Casey Kasem from the 1970s era. Your Hit Parade must have been a great music show compared to the noise that is played on television today on the music shows.
