Last 17th I passed my resignation papers and last day will be on the 30th of July. A lot asked me why? my job is paying me well, great benefits too and they're a bit lenient with you going in and out if you want to do something personal sometimes. For the past few months that I'm at work, my heart just breaks every time I go to the office and leave my kids - well technically, I only leave 1 of them at home with the nanny since the other 3 are in school. It just breaks my heart because my youngest though she's not much of a crier.. she just looks at you with this very, very sad eyes and nope, she won't cry, she's just SAD. And that's just so heartbreaking. Some even told me that's just how kids are and some even said you'll get bored at home... BUT honestly? I think that's my choice. I mean if I choose to get bored, then i'll be bored right? I have my daughter at home - I get to spend time with her!!! Plus I am already planning on what activities I would do with her. For once, I can just BE WITH HER and of course do mylot and my online work!!! I also want to be there so I can see her development and just make more memories! Plus the perks of me at home is my other kids can go home with me AT HOME and not stressed and cranky! So yup, soooo looking forward!

I think nobody has the right to judge you of your own choice. If you feel fulfilled being a doting wife and a mother, then that will bring you happiness and contentment.

i guess she's much younger than the rest and the nanny is busy with other chores while they're alone in the house?

Good luck with your decision. One thing that I've learned, if there is one thing that we should put in the back burner, it should never be our family and loved ones.

If you can financially afford to leave your job and have help to take care of your kids then I understand your decision. It is difficult to balance work and family and if you can work at home and be with your child that is a blessing. You also will not have to pay the nanny though they will have to find work. I wish you and your family the best.
