Penned a POEM!

Being an ambivert by nature, more often than not I find myself in the company of no other being but myself. I enjoy having people around but mostly it's the company of silence I pine for. So, the following poem is a tribute to my generous companion. SILENCE Stop! And listen Do you hear? The sinuous songs of silence? Silence is a mage, who charms the most mundane matters into the most fantastical of creations. The ticking of the clock becomes the berating of drums; the thumping of the heart- the battering of baton. Silence is the serpent that crawls beneath your skin and wraps around your throat; Poisons the meandering matrix into a suspended surreality. As the venom crackles through the narrow neurotic lanes of your mind, you begin to witness the superb warping of the twin mates of Space and Time, but only inside your head; for To the naked eye it remains intangible, elusive and forever an illusion. Ever witnessed the snow at play? How quietly and gracefully she paints a whole valley into a picture of white. The portrait is coloured- yes, only you and I don’t see it. Why? Because the colours are silent. The monotony of the mundane drill opens up to me- a reality. A reality where- the pomp and show of my noisy race, is subdued by the “Great Silence”; A reality where- The din and bedlam of the outside world, barely breaches the stunning quiet on the inside; A reality where- ‘Silence’ is the loudest voice I can hear. picture courtesy- sparK_bd

@jstory07 Wow so you moved to a new place? how is it? I live in a bustling city but on weekends I come back to my quaint little home town. I absolutely love it here. Peaceful and tranquil. I have always hated too much of sounds and noises.
