You're probably wondering what on earth I could possibly like more than "Sunday Morning Coming Down," yesterday's entry in my list of 25 favorite Johnny Cash songs. Remember, these aren't what I consider "best," but rather my favorites.
#4: I Still Miss Someone
Here are two shockers for you about this song. One, it was never a single. It was the B-side of "Don't Take Your Guns to Town." Two, despite the fact that it was never a single, it's one of Cash's most covered songs. Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, and Bob Dylan are among the acts who've done the song.
It's a deceptively upbeat song about a man who has broken up with a girl. The title says it all, but the music doesn't seem to coordinate with the down nature of the lyrics. Most people who have covered this song have done it much slower than Cash did, because only Johnny Cash could get away with an upbeat lost love song.

know the song is actually about the loss of a girlfriend, but, it actually reminds me o the loss of my mom. She was a big Johnny Cash fan, with a big heart , and soulful blue eye,s. When I listen to the song,Ireally still miss someone, the most importan woman in my life, my mom.
