...I am more stable than I have been in my entire life. This is what I believe contributed to my renewed love of life. My children are in their late teens, with one being under 10. I am a fearless single dad and provider. I turned 39 recently, and well... I was bummed at first, mainly because I have witnessed the equivalent of a war. Friends in Prison. In a grave from drugs, suicide, murder, car accidents, heart attacks. HEART ATTACKS! Yes, that's scary when your school time pal dies before you. It's humbling. ANYWAY! Geeeez... I gave my family a FRESH start far away from our sick hometown. It is sad to watch it decline into the threshold of HEROIN HELL. It is sad to scan for needles when you take your kid to the playground. It is sad to have to nearly pull your firearm, midday over an attempted assault. IT'S SAD. After seven years of that... Having PEACE and QUIET no sense of ANXIETY at all times. Is well, strange and comforting. Long story short. Getting old doesn't mean laying down to die. It means sharing what you know, learning more, and leaving the earth in a better place than when you arrived. PEACE!!!

After reading your post, I'm unable to decide if your username suggest you live in a border town or defines your mental state. But it's good to know your kids have transferred to a better environment. It's not easy being a single parent.

The name dervies from the illness "Borderline Personality Disorder" (Emotional Regulation disorder). I was an ADMIN for a support group, this was the name I HID behind for years. Then I just adopted it as my online persona :)

Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo (title of the mantra spoken/sung here by Tina Turner) https://youtu.be/isXLBHCDo4Y It means ... 'watch what happens, and pick-up-&-carry-on the enlightened methods' or something
