Fast food is a big business and employs about 3.5 million people in the U.S and takes $210 billion per year. But, the fast food has not come so fast into prominence till the fate of Harland Sanders was not in the right track. It has to wait for Sanders till he attained the age of 34 years a long journey that started from Indiana to Kentucky. He was a dropout from the school as he could not get through Algebra and when he was 13 years started working here and there and the forged birth certificate made him get a Job in the Army as a mule driver. After his service in the Army, he was wandering here and there searching for employment and to the surprise of modern times he started working as a lawyer. This job he could not keep for long and a twist fight with his own clerk right in front of the judge made his close the practice. The job in the shell filling station gave him the opportunity to prove his talent in the restaurant. He moved closely with the General Manger of the Shell Filling Station and could get permission to run a canteen using his own kitchen that started bringing more money than the Gasoline and closed the competition with the locals especially with one by name Mr. Stevens. But, surprisingly on one occasion he got to pick up a quarrel in support of his friend ie. the General Manager of the Shell Filling Station and wounded him badly. Fortunately, he was cleared off the whole mess of incident only to make him earn name and fame and fortune out of his restaurant business.
