Many countries are over populated now and it has become a huge problem. Traffic problems are increasing in these countries .Solutions to these problems are not working out in many countries as by the time solution to such problems comes, population still increases to a large extent and so it is a huge problem to attend as there doesn't seem to be a concrete solution than to shift some people to little populated places and this is not at all possible for sure

there are some steps that can be considered.
1. Construction of multi-storey buildings should be minimized. If not possible, the number may be brought down to a convenient minimum.
2. Independent constructions should be encouraged with proper layouts and planning. This leads to the spread of the region area-wise Instead of allowing 30 families in an area of 1500Sft in 5 storeys we can encourage them to spread themselves in different colonies. It requires the automatic development of roads, water pipelines, drainage etc., which is a development itself. This will minimize the traffic.
3. Shifting of Administrative Buildings to the places it is necessary to increase the traffic from a more traffic place.

Well said and development means it should spread all over large area and not limited to some place. In such cases, construction of multi-storey buildings should not be allowed or it should be limited to less number of floors.

The solution is public transport. This reduces traffic and also pollution. Also as you mentioned all the facilities concentrated in cities also is a cause.

Yes. We can't control the traffic and the population. This has been the problem for a long time.
