That Is 100 Percent False

Please quit making stuff up also. Don't you just love people who call facts false because it does not line up with their worldly outlook. I see many people do this on all sides of the political spectrum. Not just political stuff, but pretty much everything they do not like. Dogs are one of the most loyal species on the planet, if not the most loyal. Well, I hate dogs and that observation is false. Red is pretty red, but I hate the color red and that means red is not red. Oil spills are bad for the environment, but love oil because I work for an oil company. Therefore, oil spills are good for the environment. People are just making stuff up so they can get their solar companies to profit more. No wonder people are always caught off guard so much and bitter. I hate being caught off guard and just because some facts have proven some of my worldly outlook's wrong does not mean I am going to start to lie to myself. It seems like a sad way to live.

I know a person like that she always has to be right. She will even call you a liar and rub to look it up on the computer to prove herself right.

Well, I'm not sure exactly all that you are saying here, but one thing I do agree with - dogs are the most loyal species, and we humans would be a far better species than we are now if we picked up on the examples they set.

Basically, people lie to themselves so it will fit with their ideological viewpoints. Yes, dogs do lead by example very well without even knowing they do it.

@crossbones27 Yes, without even knowing it and asking for nothing in return other than maybe an occasional pat on the head.

It's just so much easier to explain your point of view if you can just make up the relevant facts as you go. A lot of things touted as facts are not even facts by definition. They are better described as evidence and often ambiguous evidence at that. Remember if you can't dazzle them with brilliance baffle them with bs.

Very true and guess it must work well since so many do it, but please do not call people out on it when you see right through their bs. They get a bit upset.

We cannot be right all the time. When it happens that we did, or said, something wrong it's not the end of the world. It's much better to discuss and explain than to declare the false to be right again.

My favorite is that the earth is only six-thousand years old. Never mind that science has proved otherwise. We'll just stop teaching science in schools and get all the textbook's changed.
