Neem oil spray vs pesticide

I am using neem oil spray for flower plants instead of pesticides.These pesticides are going to be absorbed , especially if it is food plant and enter into food chain.These days large awareness campaign is going on everywhere. What is neem oil? I also do not use pesticide, but I never heard about this product.

it is available in every agricultural shop in India. Its botanical name is Azadirachta indica.

That's a lot better if it's gonna be as effective as pesticides. Never knew about neem's this characteristic.

Oil is effective against some types of pests. We have used diatomaceous earth to good effect too. We try to work completely pesticide free at home.

It sounds safer than pesticides. Perhaps more people will be more inclined to use the been pray over the pesticides which is harmful.

Is it available in stores? What is the price? Does it help plants against red ants?our plants are attacked by red ants constantly
