@teenspirit - lini b - One of my mentors, way back in time, explained to me what to do whenever I became bored.
"Grow a pimple on your rear end. The pain and the itching will keep you busy enough such that you will never become bored."

Maybe watching a movie, listening your favorite song, chatting with friends ,going out for a walk or reading a book you are interested in.

I hope you mean bored, not boring. I'd look for a musical instrument to noodle around on. Or a book of poetry to check out. If you're actually depressed, drink some milk or eat some ice cream (tryptophan is converted into serotonin by the body) and get some exercise (releases many "happy chemicals"). If it's really serious, seek treatment.

Oh, for the days when I was a young teen with nothing to do! sigh.
Now I'm often busy cooking, cleaning, teaching, changing diapers and so on and so forth that I don't get much "selfish" time. Though I do manage to get on mylot a bit....
But I'd love to quilt more, read more, garden more, travel more....
Not saying I regret having the kiddos. They're my dreams come true. Just trying to point out that you might not always have these "boring" times, so enjoy them while you can!
