Today , as always , I took another shot of Mayon Volcano before finally going inside the office .
I always get enthralled with the way it looks each day . The weather gives it a different appearance everyday .
But she’s most majestic on a very sunny day . This morning , she was still majestic even if the weather is a bit gloomy .
Take a look at the clouds that enveloped her topmost cone ? How does it look to you guys ?
For me , it’s like a skirt .

Oh that is an awesome photo of the Mayon! . I have so many shots of the Mayon that I treasure.. Every minute or so, the clouds change the view of the Mayon ..Every view tells a story that can't be describe by words.. just by feeling

Thank you . I think , people who see Mayon would always say that she's beautiful . We refer to her like a lady because she's beautiful .
And you are right the clouds change the view of Mayon .
So, what can you imagine at how it looks now , with the clouds on its tip ?

@SIMPLYD No, my camera is not expensive or sophisticated, Ms. LT. It's only a point-and-shoot one but I'm thankful to my daughters who gifted it to me.

It is really a majestic shot. The picture you have posted is awesome. I loved it.
You live in a place where there are volcanoes. In our city there is no volcanoes and I've never seen a volcano myself, though I wish to see once.

@SIMPLYD If one lives near a volcano, though he could see its beauty, however, on the other hand if the volcano becomes active, all sorts of troubles start pouring in.

Thank you for liking the picture
.
I must admit , it Mayon volcano is beautiful and always have a different look . So , when i saw it like that , i just have to take a picture of it .
It's dangerous to be living in a place where there is an active volcano . To those living near it , they always evacuate whenever the Philvocs will announce an alert warning .

That photo is awesome. You captured it perfectly. I imagine the clouds as a hat covering the topmost portion of the mountain.

@SIMPLYD Hum..I forgot what they called it. I remember the skirt that my sister wore before she put on her wedding gown. There is a word "korean" on it. It serves as a balloon for her gown..

A whipped cream!
Yesterday, I went on my cycling to the top of the hill again and found a pretty view. Didn't bring my phone with me though so wasn't able to take a pic of the clouds beneath the mountains.

@just4him it always does. Old people sais it erupts every 10 or more than 10 years. Infact it erupted last 2006 . Not so major , although it deposited on its base boulder and molten lava, and that was June. ithink . Then on nov 30 of that year a strong typhoon badly hit our province causing flush flood from the Mayon Volcano, bringing thouse boulder and molten lava to the nearby towns around it. it killed at least 300 people and washed away lots of houses .
So sad year .

A beautiful snap of a majestic work of nature.
To me it looks like a Sentinel watching over the human civilization as it progresses towards posterity.

@SIMPLYD That's very kind of you to say so. Thanks a lot!
I've grown up in a place that is quite a little heaven in itself. I've always found myself surrounded with paddy fields of happy golden harvest and green rolling hills that greet the horizon at a distance. When I saw this photo I simply couldn't help but be reminded of my lovely little town (although my home town has no volcano). Thanks for sharing the snap.

Thank you . Yes, it seems like a hat indeed .
I think it last erupted a bit heavy last 2006 . And the deposited lava , when there was a typhoon a flash flood that occurred flashing all those big boulders to the nearby towns surrounding it . It killed more than 300 - 400 people and washed away houses . So horrible .

's that volcano active?? i'd be worried o'er bein' so close to such myself. i do admit', 'tis a most hauntin' beauty. i thought the clouds looked like whipped cream...perhaps coz i'd love to climb into a hot fudge sundae't the moment, lol.

Yes, it's an active volcano . One major eruption that happened was last 2006 , but no major damage was done . Though when there was a flash flood caused by a typhoon all those molten lava and boulders were washed to the surrounding towns , killing at least 300-400 people.
Now there's three of you who said it looks like a whipped cream and i know you are all lovers of sundae .
