OMG! I have never expected what I have seen in my piggy bank. I am excited. Months of working at the Thai massage salon for just a few hours a week has given me €322. 50 tips. I was not even a year of working. My hard work and my muscle pains was worth it. Of course I was able to save as it is still my hubby who is paying our bills.
Now, I am going to my checkup and after that I will go to my Pinay friend who can change my Euro for Pesos. She said she still has 5 thousand pesos from her last visit in the Philippines. I wonder how much is 1 € to Peso.
Have you saved something which you were so surprised?

I asked my Bank and they told me to put them in a plastic bag, not mixed. A machine counts it.

I count mine, then separate them and role them with paper sheets. The centavo has very low value so my bank is usually just 5 and 10 peso coins so lesser work

That´s good @amadeo I brought my jar with mixed coins to my 11 years old dutch nephew last weekend. He is always happy to receive a jar of Euro cents because he loves to count the coins and he then bring them to their bank in Holland and the money he receive will be spend for his toys. I see him maybe twice a year and I got the habit of collecting Euro cents and give them to him whenever we see each other.![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

I have piggy banks where I put coins for my vacations. Usually, even though I don´t put every coin I see around, there is more money that what I thought I´d have.

Yes, there is much more money than what we think of @marguicha. A saving for a vacation is always great.

That´s a good plan @eliza_godinez12 . I am doing that when I don´t use the saving for my travel.

I separated my earnings from my remote jobs on Upwork & other translation sites for purposes of monitoring. I don't want them to be mixed with my savings out of my salary from my regular job. I keep them in the bank. Also, I keep big plastic bottles of water inside my room. They contain my coins.

I have a piggy bank that I throw all my change into. I cash it in once a year. It had over 75 dollars in it this year.
