An Interesting Moment At Work Last Night

I work as a call in custodian for a local church here in town for events outside of regular business hours. It's usually a really boring job, and I'm there mostly in case something happens, so I end up sitting in the office most of my shift. Anyways there was a wedding reception going on from 3pm to 2am and I came into work at 6pm. Around 9:30 to 10 pm I was walking my round through the building, just doing the fire check and making sure no one was in places they shouldn't be or doing anything they shouldn't be doing. Flicked on the light down a hallway that wasn't in use and when i got to the end of the hallway and turned the corner I was greeted by a couple "going at it" in the hallway.
Turned back up the hallway and told them they can't be back in that area. Gave them a few min to get themselves situated and went back to tell them they need to go back to the reception. Think I handled it pretty good, never had that happen before lol.

you did a good job. It is risky and involves responsibility.
