If you haven't notice the trending topic this morning has been Jesse Williams Speech at the BET Awards. If you haven't seen it please see link below of a not only the speech but of the white backlash from the speech saying that it was racist:
I found that the speech was speaking truth and telling the black community to no longer stand for injustice. That the time is now and not later.
What say you ? Do you agree or disagree with Jesse's speech and why ?

I think it was a very powerful speech. I think it was telling us black people just cuz you wear the latest fashions and make big bucks don't think you have made it cuz you haven't. I think he was telling us that we all need to be concerned and all need to do our parts. As far as being racist, I don't see it - I believe if your not a racist person then it shouldn't hit a cord with you. I heard if your not about helping and you have nothing positive to say or to offer don't bother.
Should Nickelodeon have broadcasted the show - hard to say - I'm sure they had there reasons.
