I Can' t Get Enough Sleep

I really can't get enough sleep. When I am awakened in the middle of the night, It's so hard for me to go back to sleep again. It takes 2 to 3 hours before I can fall asleep . Then very early in the morning , my eyes will open and will not fell asleep anymore. I really want to get a good sleep but I can't.

I feel the same, im a light sleeper and its hard for me to sleep the whole night without tossing and turning

I also keep on turning and changing position in my bed. But it really takes time for me to fall asleep.

@magallon Me too, the other night it was around 11 pm and I fell asleep and woke up at 3 am and it took me forever to fall asleep, ended up watching Netflix until I fell asleep

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I was awakened 11:26 then fell asleep again maybe after almost two hours. Then woke up again this 3:40am and ended up doing mylot..... Lol

@magallon How about drink lot of water before you sleep? because when this happened to me I just close my eyes again. or make myself tired then go back to sleep hmm

I am relax before I sleep. But the problem is when I am awaken in the middle of my sleep. I am really having a hard time to sleep again.

@tech40 That's what I am doing sometimes. I get up and drink water. Sometimes I can sleep again but it takes time.

When i wakes up at 2..chances are...no more sleep for me ;(

That's me too. But I really try hard to fall asleep again. I keep on changing position.

Why don't you try taking a glass of hot milk added with sugar (not if you are diabetic). It gives good sleep. I came out of this problem.

@magallon : have you tried increasing the sugar quantity also. (if you are not diabetic). The milk should be hot. Do not go for artificial methods.

@shivamani10 I do not like using too much sugar in my milk. But I can increase it a little.

That's really bad! Just to share one of my colleague has the same problem with yours. What he did is, he put some lemon on his water. Then according him he has a better sleep now. Hope it can help you!:-)

I'm the same too, though I have tried sleeping pills. I think the only way to get good rest is to set a sleeping time at night and stay awake during daytime and not sleep. There are others that suggests some natural ways to fall asleep at night the only thing that worked for me is reading a good book or getting myself really tired then I sleep like a baby.

Sometimes I make myself tired. I do many works at home , hoping to fell asleep early and well. But there are times that it does not work. It's still hard to sleep.
