Have you ever experienced issues with Facebooks real name policy?.. I have on multiple occasions. Back in 2008 before they had fan pages, Facebook gave me permission to open another account for my writer's pen name and Celebrity name.. Then around 2012 I got hacked and had a hard time trying to prove I was Casey Heinzism I fought for months gathered stuff about myself into a 20 page packet finally they let me back in but told me I had to change it to my real name .... This causes a real issue of putting my legal name publicly and then I had phone calls from fake debt collectors, and scammers, and junk mail and all kinds of issues. This is also outted me to one bully I did not know was not a friend that sat on my friends list since 2012.. she waited until April 30th 2016 to publicly post friends only posts and other snippets of my work to trash me... Just a couple months after Facebook for the third time gave me permission to use my pen name .... So, I reported her and some other bullys.. and next I know I am being asked for my id again. So I gave them my state id and work id... It is fake to them.. I am a work at home freelancer.. So this is all I have... I did file for a DBA on Friday I hope it goes through but I earn so little that is literally a years worth of earnings for me to just do the DBA alone.. Just so i have proof I am Casey Heinzism... I do not use my real name on social networks because of my celebrity status, can bring unwanted attention to the family foster homes i also volunteer in, that has some domestic abuse survivors there as well. I also minister and share a very controversial path about religion and spirituality, as I am the founder of the spiritual culture, and I named my pen name Casey Heinzism after my spiritual culture Heinzism. Heinzism is learning form all paths and walking your path in truth... But it is also known as "Amish Indian" Because my Mom's side was Cherokee, Lakota, Cree and more.. and My Dad's side was Amish.... That alone is controversial that i am still allowed and given blessings by the Amish Bishop of my Father's community to continue calling myself Amish, and to found and run my own community without being shunned, or Banned. The other controversial thing is i am Two spirited. This means i live in both female and male role... I see myself as f-m transgender.. or prefer to be refered to as gender neutral... So, Facebook and the bullying outting this to the public has also put my safety at risk, and caused numerous issue with my family members... who are phobic, or so stuck on certain Bible verses to not talk to me at all anymore... Also many others of my native heritage and non native that have legal names that look fake have been effected by this my friend named Wolf had this happen to him 4 times in a single month.... I been circulating a petition to try to get Facebook to listen to me but they will not. ... If they want us to use our real names, they should at least have a display name added to them.. so they have on record who we legally are.. and the display name can prevent us from identity theft... and other issues... What are your thoughts? For against this real name policy I am obviously against it. After after almost a four week battle and registration for DBA application, Facebook finally changed my account name Back To Casey Heinzism :D
