People has no right to kill their own child, this is why I don't agree with abortion and the promotion of it as women's right it should ONLY be done on special cases... "A former college student who gave birth in her sorority house was sentenced Monday to life in prison without parole for killing the newborn by throwing her in the trash. Emile Weaver, 21, was found guilty by a jury last month of aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Prosecutors said Weaver gave birth in a bathroom at the Delta Gamma Theta sorority at Muskingum University on April 22, 2015, then purposefully caused the death of her baby. They said the baby girl died from asphyxiation after Weaver put her in a plastic trash bag and left it outside the sorority house."

Everyone thinks that it is okay to abort or kill or just simply trash their new born because they don't have the courage to face the world with the child they produced from their own love. It is disheartening to see people being so heartless. They don't have any rights to kill their new born, or kill the baby inside the womb. I know sometimes it happens by mistake. But nowdays we have so many different ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Why do women be so ignorant and careless when they are sure about having a relation unprotected is 90% chances of getting them pregnant. There was this similar case where once early winter morning we found a baby thrown in trash along with her stem cord and she was getting bitten by hundreds of ants. I hate being a human at times.

It is really tragic as first of all she did commit a mistake and that too a major one by taking off a life or denying some life which is not pardonable. It is really sad that we get to hear such stories on daily basis. We should all create awareness so that people don't get into such crimes and those people who commit such mistakes should get severe punishment

Well, I am not surprised, she probably never thought it would mean loss of her life in the Penn.

In many countries abortion is available. The young lady was so wrong to kill her new born daughter and place her in the trash. She would have been able to adopt her to a loving family that would care for her in a loving way. I guess that she didn't give birth in a hospital or her home with a midwife. I think abortion is wrong even though it is legal in my home country. People should be better at handling birth control. If a lady is sleeping with her man then no form of birth control is 100% effective. I am so sad this innocent little baby was killed by her own mother.

Oh my god! its so brutal! If you can't give a decent life to a child, you have not right to get pregnant, why can't girls be careful??

It's good that justice was done in this particular case.
