About 9:00 A.M. today, I visited my gynecologist's clinic. She let me see the result of my pap smear. The result says that I had a severe infection, gladly it was benign malignancy. When I read that, I have teary eyes because of happiness and I felt I'm floating in the air for I never thought of that result, I thought I'm going to have an operation. I even asked my sons to give me some monetary assistance if I'm going to have an operation. I also asked my siblings to help me just in case if I had it.
Prayers will really help a man's condition if we only ask it from Him. Thank you Lord.
Friends, if you expect something bad and found it good result, what is your usual reacti on?

I go to the doctor and ask for second opinion. Good to know you are free from the sickness that you think you have.
By the way, if it is benign, it is not malignancy. Malignancy means it is already consuming a half of your life. If malignant, it can mean cancer. If benign, it can be just a tumor. I hope you get what I mean?

@ida123 Yes, I know and I'm very thankful for that. I was just questioning the term you used, as if it had been a malignancy it couldn't be benign as well.
Any way, never mind the niceties of the English language, let's just rejoice that it poses no threat to you.

That's great it wasn't really bad news. My mother also had gotten similar news too. She thought she had something serious, but it was infection. She has to take meds now too.

I'm glad to hear that it was not something serious. Whenever I am in that situation, I would feel relieved. Thanking and Praising Him for a good result.
