Today I learned a new thing that we can remember mobile numbers alphabetically.
A=1,
B=2,
C=3,
D=4,
E=5,
F=6,
G=7,
H=8,
I=9,
J= 10.
When I was travelling I got this idea from a group of college students, they were discussing about how to by-heart mobile numbers easily. I don't know will it work for you or not but for me I am trying to remember mobile numbers by these alphabets.

I do not see any "10" on my phone. Long ago in France rotary phones had letters and it was possible to convert a number to a word. All phone numbers in Paris were starting by the 3 third letters of the district : OPEra, ELYsée, ARChives, GOBelins, etc. The 1 was not used for letters, because it was the starting number for services (directory enquiries, police, emergencies...), and it was starting with 2, ABC ; 3, DEF, etc. It was a lot more complex than your method.
