SpooF!

If you have read my previous discussion, I had narrated that I had received an email telling me that my PayPal account was limited. This morning, after receiving some money in my account, I had received another email, telling me that my account will be limited until they hear from me. It flashed back once again what had happened in 2012 when my account was limited, and I actually went back to that email. The subject was similar but the body of the email is not the same. Still, I got nervous because what if it's true that mine will be limited? I had searched again online on how to verify if the email is fake or not. I had been using Paypal since 2010. I can't say I am already too familiar with it and I am not an expert in telling which one is fake. With this, I had read online that we had to report suspected fake emails to spoof@paypal.com and I did. I forwarded the email. Have you tried reporting fake emails to spoof? Actually, this is the 6th (fake) email, if I am not mistaken, that I had received, wanting me to login to their website. I found out their website by mousing over the login link that it is not really PayPal.

I used to get those a lot and I always reported them to spoof@paypal.com. Sometimes I got a thank you message back. I have not gotten one of these in a long time so they must have given up or something.

Wow, just like when we received spam and scam texts from unknown numbers, we can already report them in NTC, now in Spoof for spam/scam emails?
