What's your favourite ice cream flavour?

.
My husband and I dropped by the Asian store yesterday. I bought a few things .
It cost $12 for this 1.5 litres ice cream which I found a bit expensive . It is equivalent to at least 450 pesos..
One of my favourite ice cream flavours is ube (purple yam) so I decided to get some. But I am not satisfied because aside from containing very little ube, it din't taste like ube at all . But at least the macapuno (coconut) was tasty and creamy ..
Friends in the Philippines, how much is a 1.5 litre of ice cream sold there?
I din't really get the chance to find out the price of ice creams over there in the Philippines because, the only time I get to eat ice cream is when we go to our favourite restaurant for special halo halo.
I don't buy ice cream in tubs because I only have a small fridge over there and there's not much room in the freezer to keep ice cream.
It cost $18 for a 1.5 litre of pure ube ice cream here imported from the Philippines.. It is a bit too expensive for me..
Anyway, what's your favourite ice cream flavour?..
Bess ..

I think what you paid for your Magnolia Ice Cream is double the price here. However, the transport costs plus taxes should account for the difference in the price you paid. I'm sure you won't mind the price as long as you had the taste of home (Philippine-made ice cream), right?

Yes, I thought it would be double the price which is fair enough ..And yes of course whenever I feel homesick of the homeland, I go to the Filipino store to stack up on Filipino foods ..

What an expensive ice-cream you had there. Here in Canada our Ice-Cream is (when not on sale) $6.00 and then if you have it on sale it can be as low as $ 2.99 for about one liter. I don't much of it, but when I do I like the chocolate chip one and vanilla.

This particular ice cream is only expensive because it's imported from the Philippines .. But those that are made locally are only a third of that price ..

@epiffanie When I was younger, Mom's favorite was always coffee ice cream and I thought it was so boring! Now that it's become my favorite, it just makes me laugh! It's not boring at all!

@epiffanie Yup, not just a swirl. My parents love that too. If it's not available, I also love other fruit flavored ice creams, like strawberry, or mango, halo halo and buco salad.

I like the matcha and chocolate most. Besides, I never bought 1.5 L ice cream, for it's too much for me to eat over.

I like maple walnut and I usually spend about $3 for a half gallon of ice cream. Gelato is a little more expensive.
