Things Change As We Age.

Things change as we age, do they not?
'Getting lucky' means a parking spot,
If we call you pet names
We're not playing games,
It just means that your name we forgot.
And ladies, perhaps you don't know
That underarm hair does not grow,
Won't need to be shorn,
But alas it's reborn
On your upper lip - holy cow!
Though Ann is quite long in the tooth,
She tries to hold onto her youth,
But the only way
To get him to stay,
Is to give him her cash - that's the truth.
My photo of the Norwegian fjords.

Getting old is really the pits
It's not just the pains,
or no financial gains,
but falling apart bit by bits

Sad but true that aging doesn't have many perks. Gravity has hit me hard

Gravity joins up to rob it,
Follicles all move! A job it
Is to keep hair
From moving to where
It collects on the small Hobbit!
For the Hobbit has large feet
To where the hairs all retreat
And from skull
Age does cull
Hair follicles give up in defeat.

Haha the hair on the lips made me laugh!
Could I be bold
To say when you're old
Your bits don't stay where they were.
You sag and you droop
You gag and you poop.
But you're still a nice person worthy of gold.
Love the photo.

@jaboUK I had to because I value what looks I have got left. I would hate you to rearrange my face with your frying pan!

Ann may have some luck with her cash
But not with her fuzzy moustache
So she dabbles with creams
And bleach til she screams
And hopes he won't notice the rash.
Oh what fun - thanks Jabo.

Let me put in my two pence worth
Age is not a joke I say
Before we know it has its way
Toothless smile
Sorry, full of guile
Those dignified wrinkles are there to stay

@jaboUK I am obsessed with LiteracyBase where I get to write blogs that I enjoy doing. They have to be 300 or more words. Needless to say I earn too. I already got 10 and 10 more are on its way and all this within just 45 days. But I will definitely be here specially to look at what my friends are saying.

LOL thanks for the laughs.. I like the bit about the hair not growing in the underarms but being reborn on the upper lip.. Reminds me of my mom. She has a coup,e of hair sticking out from her upper lip and she always asked us to pluck it out with a pair of tweeters.

Lol. The more hair you pluck out the greater the numbers in replacement.

@jaboUK I think I've got more of a mustache and beard than most guys. Geez! Tweezers, hair removal cream. And they're back the next day!!!

I always did find it peculiar
Where the underarm growth did disappear?
But the facts that you’ve given
My doubts they have driven,
And now , it’s all crystal clear.

@jaboUK I would have them tattooed, but since my allergies have gotten worse over the years, the doctor warned me that I may be bothered by the ink. Bummer.
