I think I have finally found the reason my photos were coming up sideways and upside down. My MS Photo Viewer had somehow not been my primary photo viewer, I found this out when I was checking my programs. I have now put in my photos and it looks like they are now showing up the way they should, right side up. lol Just takes some time to figure it out and then change it to the way it should be. What I generally do is take a picture on my cell phone then send it to my email address, then I go in and copy and past it to my desktop then when I am ready I will copy and paste it into a site like mylot.

Glad that you figured it out! My pictures are always taken with my phone. I do have a camera, but now wonder where it is.

@ElusiveButterfly Thanks, I have a camera but haven't used it in a long time and it is much easier to use the cell phone camera.

@Marcyaz I will have to agree with you on that. The only time I wish I had a camera with a good zoom lens is when taking pictures of nature.

Reading the above I get the impression that you sometimes do not look at the photographs on any other medium than your phone, which would clearly be prone to such problems. Many mobile phones will turn an image around when the mobile is physically rotated, thus giving no indication of the true orientation.

That photo has come out beautifully. I'm glad you figured out what was wrong. I take photos with my camera and put them straight onto my computer via the cable that came with the camera.

I had this problem when I came back to myLot . . . I posted one photo that I couldn't figure out how to fix as it was sideways. I never figured out the fix, so I just never posted a photo since then!
