Equator is the hottest place in the world. Arctic or antartic places are coldest place in the world. (I am not sure of exact point in arctic or antartic).

Hottest place in the world must be the areas falling under the equatorial belt. This is according to my high school geography.

The hottest place is the Sahara 58 degrees C. Aziziyah Lybia The coldest is Antarctica with temp. -129 degrees F.
