Going for a Walk

I have enjoyed reading and participating in every ones discussions this morning. But a very odd thing occurred. I had answered every comment in the discussion about my son who isn't feeling well, but when I looked back not one of my comments were there. I felt very upset, but later after looking at more articles, I looked again and there they were. Have you ever had this happen? I hope I'm going for a walk. I'm going with my better half for his therapy and walk on the trail near the hospital. I say hope, because it might be too hot, if it is, I'll sit in the shade and read my book. I feel the need of a good walk, so I will do as much as I can. I could go to the workout room, but it's too boring to stand there and walk in one spot. I enjoy breathing the fresh air, even if it is hot, and seeing birds, or whatever small animal that passes by. If I don't get my walk today. I'll walk in the complex after the sun goes down. Take care everyone, and stay cool if possible. Enjoy your day.

Sometimes it's hard to get started, but I love it when I get myself out there.

That's exactly what I like, we used to walk on lots of different trails when my better half could walk better. Now we go to closer ones where there are comfortable benches or I walk on the trail at the hospital while he has therapy.

Your walk sounds lovely. Enjoy it. My scenery will only be trees, and maybe a few birds or small animals.

Have you tried walking on the treadmill while reading. Probably a bit hairy and not a good idea. Hope you get your walk in.

I have tried reading while walking on the tread mill, but it distracts me from my book and vice versa.

I haven't had my window in my room open for several days. I sure enjoy it in the early morning when it's open because I can hear a dove cooing somewhere near by. It is so nice. But doesn't last long. Hope you enjoy your day too.

We never open our windows in the summer. Nothing but hot air comes in. It's nice that you can do that. I go out on the deck and turn on the overhead fan to read or just to see the trees.

@RubyHawk ....In the wee hours of the morning I do, if I am awake. It is cool and fresh. Occasionally I can hear the doves cooing in the tree just outside too. It is pleasant.

I prefer walking with Mother Nature too. Machines are boring. To answer you question, yes it has happened to me, I discovered if I use the back arrow to get back to my post, the comments aren't there but if I use the notifications, , and then look, they are there.

I don't think I did that, I know better, but I could have. Anyway I didn't have to do all the comments again.

When I was late to open MyLot some times it happens for comments. Walking always keeps fresh from the speedy life.

I don't blame you for wanting to walk outside rather than just walk in place indoors. It's such a beautiful time of year...well, when the air is healthy enough for walking. I have to do my walking much later in the day because all the heat and humidity has hit us now. Tonight we're having a rain storm and while it's cooled things down a little bit, the rest of the next week will be in the high 80s all week.

@RubyHawk I have lots of neighborhoods in which to walk here. My old neighborhood was prettier but there is a lot I haven't explored here yet. If I could get my knees in better shape, there is no end to where I could go. But I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

We are in the high nineties sometimes a 100. If it's way too hot to walk, I wait until the sun goes down and walk in the complex. We have trails and good walking space. I could walk here every day, but it gets boring, too.

It's another day here but it's still hot. It was hot during my walk, but I was in the shade which makes a bog difference.

Thanks Felix, it's working okay today. I'm thinking where I want to walk today. I plan to go to the library, so I might walk the trail over there where it's shady. Unless my better half has a different library in mind.

My computer completely glitched out yesterday. It hung up and would not work the rest of the day. Right now, it's doing okay.
