Not having a mother vs. Not having a father

Father is important, but mother is most important.

Traditionally, the mother is more important. Yet, there are also imcompetent and bad mothers and good fathers. It depends on the individual case.

I would assume not having a mother around would be tougher as they are more nurturing usually.
