Making some extra during my extra.
During the years i am.looking after our father, i somehow go back to my old hobby.
A hobby that was quite forgotten when i was studying.
Cross stitching.
Cross stitching was stopped because i have to focus on my studies for it is quite addicting. It is hard to stop when i started doing one.
Years after, it was when one of my sister asked.me to make one while looking after our father.
The simple.one piece made.me.do more--around ten, and getting paid for doing them.
And it feels great to have an extra money during my extra time.
Have you earned something out of your hobby?

Nice work. I have made money from things that would be considered hobbies because they aren't my bread and butter work. I have earned money from writing and I don't just mean myLot or the departed Bubblews. I have made money from my wood turning. I'd like to make a modest living from those talents and not have to work so hard at other stuff that often isn't any fun at all.

@Lucky15 - Reine25 - In answer to your question about earning something out of "my hobby" - I must confess that my hobby is searching for a hobby and it pays scarce little - but it is a great deal of fun to search and search and search. It is much like being here on the MyLot thing. Lots to do. Not much in the way of earnings other than the fun of it all and the meeting of so many nice people.

No. if theres something i like to do, i do it out of interest and i dont think of making money out of them. Well it would be awesome but i havent thought of selling them. I used to make bracelets cause i got addicted before for my own use. They were adored haha.. I was flattered and they started asking me to make one -- with no pay.

Oh ya! I have always turned my hobbies into a job, while that paid for my lifestyle, it also killed the hobby for me. So pooo

I also did some cross stitch when I was in high school and college.
But I never earned anything from it.
